Karachiis pleased to announce a short course
on
“Leadership in Family Planning and Reproductive
Health�scheduled fromMarch 8 to March 18,
2010 in Karachi. The brochure and registration form for this
course are attached with this email for your
reference.
This course will provide a good learning opportunity for mid
level managers from Health; Population Welfare; Planning and
Development, and relevant NGOs working in districts of Punjab
with experience and interest in Population, Family Planning
and[YAHOO_.com/mc/in].
We would really encourage those who are currently working in
various NGOs in
PunjabRegion which are active in Health and Population
sectors to apply for this great learning opportunity.
Interested applicants who are willing to enroll in this course
must fulfill the following
selection criteria:
a)
age not more than 40 years on 31
stDecember 2009.
b)
is serving or has served in field based
project/program.
c)
has already served in your
organization
for at least 1 year.
d)
has not attended any recent training (in last one year) at Aga
Khan University.
Kindly note other necessary information pertaining to
participation in this course:
1.
The course will be conducted at a local hotel in Karachi from
9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.
2.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided to the participants
during the course.
3.
Two way economy class air-fare of most economical route will be
reimbursed on submission of copy of computerized NIC and
Original Ticket/s. Whereas, coverage of local travel will be
individual’s responsibility and will not be covered by
CHS-AKU.
4. Accommodation will
be provided to the participants in single occupancy at a local
hotel (12 nights from March 7 to 18, complimentary breakfast,
air-port pick and drop through hotel). Availing any
additional facility e.g. Prolonged stay, Laundry, Mini-bar,
Local/Long Distance telephone, coffee/drinks/ meals, etc. will
be individual’s responsibility and will not be covered by
CHS-AKU.
Participants making their own accommodation arrangements will
not be eligible to claim any compensation.
5. Subsistence
Allowances of Rs. 850/= per day will be paid for the days
participants are presented in Karachi duration of course to
cover the cost of dinner and other incidentals.
6.
Reimbursement of air-fare and Subsistence Allowances will be
made through demand draft and will be mailed to individuals
after completion of the course.
7. The course will
conclude by 5:00 pm on Thursday, March 18, 2010, and
participants would be requested to schedule their travel plans
maximum by next morning accordingly.
