Association for Behavior and knowledge Transformation-Pakistan 

Objective: Social, economical and political development of marginalized communities especially women and children through mobilization, group formation, capacity building, economic support and advocacy for their rights and entitlement to ensure their empowerment.

Description and address: Founded in 1994, the Association for Behavior and Knowledge Transformation (ABKT) is a registered and nationally recognized organization that improves the lives of women and girls in under developed communities in Pakistan.

Our approach is to work hand-in-hand with women leaders, local partners, and national and international organizations to give women the tools they need to improve their lives, families and communities.

ABKT is operating in NWFP with having special focus on Malakand division for the last 15 years.  Women and children community of Malakand division is a focused target group of the organization. ABKT is working with a clear vision, organizational systems, policies and procedures, and standard operation procedures (SOPs). ABKT conducted external audits of its financial accounts every year by a charted accountant firm. It has been conducted internal audit periodically/yearly. ABKT has completed a number of social development projects with the support of various national and international donors’ agencies.
