Context:
Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD)
Pakistan
started its operations in 2005 and currently working in AJK,
NWFP, Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan; and intends to cover other
administrative regions of
Pakistan
, also.
ESP (Education
Sponsorship Program) is currently in the phase of its
establishment and requires a dynamic personality to lead the
Education Department at HHRD. The role of Manager is to
structure and implement ESP program and other initiatives at
Education Department.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manager ESP is a
senior position in HHRD with overall responsibility of
planning, organizing, coordinating executing and managing
the Education
Scholarship program (ESP) efficiently and effectively.
He/She will be devising and implementing an inclusive
strategy towards enabling the poor/underprivileged masses to
get primary, elementary, higher education opportunities at
their door steps and guidance; functions include
coordination with implementing organizations, development of
SOP’s and strategy about streamlining all related
organizations into a cooperative network.
Key Responsibilities:

HHRD Representation at all forums inline with the
organizational policies
-
To develop a system for the Orphan and Destitute
Scholarships.

Policy and procedures development related to the program
guidelines.
-
Linkages and network development between implementing
organizations: school, colleges, other institutions,
universities, etc.

Development of system to approach remote area orphans and
destitute students.
-
To develop and format academic and practical material for
social and moral uplifting of students.
-
To run youth leadership program, arranging career
counseling conferences, seminars and guidance to students
for the achievement of their career
objectives.

To maintain all records using modern technologies, and
facilitating students to approach ESP.

To develop reports summarizing all activities for higher
management on weekly/ monthly/ quarterly
basis.

Preparation of program budget and allocate resource
according to the requirements of the program.

To control and implement program according to approved
budgeted lines and heads.

Qualifications:
-
Master, MS, M .Phil Degree in Management &
Education
-
Minimum 5 year of experience in similar
position.

Comprehensive knowledge of development sector tools and
terminologies.

Strong knowledge of cultures and Educational set up
in
Pakistan
.

Good level of English and Urdu (speaking and
writing)
-
Must possess strong computer and analytical skills as well
as leadership qualities.
-
Research aptitude will be added
advantage.

Must be highly efficient to follow targets and objects in
given timeline.

Undertaking:

organization.
