HDF and Pakistan Microfinance Network (PMN) have signed an MoU to “Expand Microfinance Outreach” and jointly work on improving financial literacy in the masses to address demand side. Almost 41 million people are in need of financial services and current cumulative outreach stands at 7 million. Economic development is critical for poverty alleviation and HDF’s strong and tested model of holistic development program will be instrumental in achieving this goal. PMN is an association of retail micro-finance providers collectively accounting for over 99% of the total micro-finance outreach in Pakistan.
